Recently read Carl Sagan’s Contact. It was somewhat of a stinker stylistically, but the idea is good and I want that man to be my uncle and to have taken me aside at a tender age during a family gathering and snuck me bits of whiskey, pointed out the magellanic clouds through a golden telescope, and told me how to woo a woman.
This video seems somehow related to that.
